I am currently pursuing a PhD in Biochemistry (Chemistry graduate program) and joined Diwan lab in January, 2019. Before coming to WashU in Fall-2018, I received an M.S. degree in Biological Sciences from Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio. I received my undergraduate degree from the Department of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. My current research interest is focused on elucidating the roles of protein aggregation in Cardiomyopathy. Besides having a passionate interest in research, I enjoy traveling, photography, trying out new restaurants, reading fantasy novels and composing a few tunes in my guitar.
